Fabulous wedding design is what we are really known for and what we are passionate about!  When Highlands Ranch Mansion announced their Ultimate Design Challenge we were in!  It's such a blast to partner with other creative vendors to....well...show off :)   Mostly Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding couples were in attendance, and since vintage has been so popular we decided to go with a neutral vintage palette with a twist.  I called our design "Come Away With Me", and created a more garden vintage style, showcasing: small intimate tables, hedges, swings, statues, topiaries....but with unique twists!  All those in attendance had the chance to cast their vote...what do you think?  Come Away With Me to see all the fabulous details...

We always do sketches, it's the easiest way for me to get what I see in my head out, to see if it will really work. They may not be the best drawings, but my brides love it.  Check out how our vision came to life!

Our palette was whites, creams, blushes, light yellows, and silver/gold accents.   For our dazzling garden sweetheart table we went with amazing ivory sequins, hanging orbs with gold glitter in them, crystal chandelier, white hobnail glass candles, and fabulous vintage chairs that really finished off the whole look.

We designed intimate seating around a beautiful glass table with a tall centerpiece, you could easily do smaller tables that seat fewer people to get a more cozy setting.  We decided to just show off three lovely sweetheart style tables, with romantic flowers in mercury glass vases.

The focus of our design was a large hedge wall to bring the outside in.  On one section of the hedge wall, near what would be our dance floor, we had marquee lighting and a small lounge area.

We used both high and low cabaret tables with a variety of fun linens and topiaries to create our buffet display.  RElish Catering made a creative display using bird baths with floating appetizer containers.

The middle of our hedge wall was our ceremonial cake displayed on a small swing, and our garden cupcakes displayed like flowers in the hedge for people to "pick".  Poor Desiree at the Makery, I came up with the hedge cupcake flower idea and she made it happen making each one of those metal spiral holders.  Us wedding planners and our crazy ideas!  Have to say people loved it though!

We knew people would love the design, but we wanted to give them something really memorable, something they would still be talking about after they left.  So, we added a living statue as a photobooth backdrop. I don't know how this girl sat still that long, I couldn't do it! So many people didn't even realize she was real.

All our creative efforts paid off and those in attendance voted that we won the Ultimate Design Challenge!
